About the pattern:
We were asked to participate in a concrete gala 2017, so we dived wholeheartedly into the architecture of the “million programme” (the Swedish public housing programme of the late sixties/early seven- ties), and into concrete’s many shades of grey. We visited factories and other buildings. We drew and built houses, our aim being to combine the hardness of concrete with the softness of textiles. We printed textiles on concrete and made concrete houses in textiles. No matter how grey the houses are on the outside, they all have warmth and light on the inside just like we humans are, different on the outside but the same on the inside.
